Hair loss

I wonder any of you has hair loss problem.

Me, unfortunately.

In all seriousness, I am losing hair at an abnormal rate, and doing my best to ignore it. This business over "The Overachievers" has drudged that up just as it had become an everyday aspect of life...

^^Haha, I'll laugh at you when you're bald

So kind, LOL. XD

Prescited, Have you found a reason for the hair loss?

'Fraid not. My best guess is sleep deprivation, but it could also be some nutritional unbalance.

How are your nails? Are they normal?

Fine and dandy, so it isn't a keratin deficiency...

I'm at a loss, really, aside from my suspicions that it has something to do with my lack of adequate sleep.

Well, it could be your thyroid too.

But try getting more sleep... hair loss is going to be quite depressing a few years down the road.

I'll say...

I'm female! >_<;

^^ouch, don't worry, some men find women who have less hair than they do to be quite sexy!

A lot of people start losing their hair at 18, 19, 20. Patrick Stewart lost most of his hair by 19, and he was CAPTAIN OF THE DAMNED ENTERPRISE.

Jibberlol, what planet are those men from? XD

BandTenHut, bringing up Patrick Stewart is no consolation to me! He looks fine bald. I, on the other hand, would look awful; a bald girl?

Some girls look gorgeous bald though... Like Natalie Portman.

ah... are you using an medication that could be causing it? and get gentle shampoo so it doesn't make it worse

i have mild trichotillomania so i just pull out my hair on my own but it's really thick so it's not noticeable at all but i do want to stop just for when i get older if it'll get thinner or something

If I looked like Natalie Portman, do you really think I'd be posting on CC?

j/k, but really.

Well, I post on CC.

;)

Try some biotin supplements and see if it works for you.

I used to have hairloss due to stress mainly, but it has gotten better recently.

My family just has a history of losing hair quickly (by 45 years of age on one side and 30 on the other), so it is not suprising that my hair is going away.
