Ok Ok, this is a trivial question really, but I was curious. Where would one get a haircut at WashU? I am really appreciative of the variety of student businesses around campus, but I never found or heard of place that could give you a trim.

If you took a tour or even went onto the 40, then you passed the campus salon. There are places off campus, too.

Just north of the Village (like less than two minutes walk away) is a small center with a pharmacy, hair salon, and some other useful places.

The haircut place north of the village is pretty crap imo and there have been quite a few negative reviews of it online as well. The one on the loop is a lot better, though its farther and more expensive. The one on campus is the most convenient.

I usually walk a couple blocks south of campus to Great Clips by the Schnucks. They’ve been good the several times I’ve gone.

Is the one on campus any good? I thought they only did stuff like nails and tanning.

I’ve always just waited till Thanksgiving to do it at home, but my hairs a mess by then ;p

If you have a car or can do WeCar, there is a guy down big bend a little south of 64 that does a great job with my hair, and for cheaper than the Great Clips. His shop is called Big Bend Barber.

The one on campus is decent. It costs $17; I would say it’s pretty average haircut.
