my friend was telling me about how her friends are going to find a party to get drunk on halloween. and yes, it's find as in they don't even know what party they're going to. well she and a couple other people are going trick or treating around the little neighbourhood that surrounds us!

anyone trick or treating or just getting drunk?

Most people I know are going out to Halloween parties and getting drunk (myself included). I do know quite a few who plan on going to various neighborhoods and going trick or treating. There’s no stigma for either, I mean hey…free candy.

I am going home to take my niece and nephews trick or treating for my 9 months pregnant sister, and then when the kids are done I think my boyfriend and I will go back out to get more candy. By the time most of the kids are done nobody in my neighborhood cares, they are just happy to unload the extra candy.

Halloween is pretty badass at fraternity houses. I know a few houses that make pretty darn good drinks which isn’t jungle juice. Purty crazy over on the dancing area too!

I’m still sick from this cold I’ve had all week, except now my cough is worse So I had to cancel my plans, and I’ll be staying in tonight. I’ll just watch Halloween/creepy-themed tv episodes and do homework…sigh Someone better save me some candy!

Yeah, one of my nephews got swine flu and my sister went into labor, so I am home with boyfriend handing out candy and studying for midterms. XD

All this talk of games makes me wish I had my World in Conflict disc here :/

Or wish that my school’s internet didn’t suck so I could download it hah.

I’m probably gonna either chill at school and play some Rock Band with a friend and/or go to this dance, or go to a party with my roommate and babysit his drunk ass :P

Yeah, we haven’t gotten many either. You know you’re in college when you’re waiting for trick-or-treaters to come and think “I could be getting so much homework done now…” People just don’t seem to love Halloween as much as they used to. Not as many people decorate, most of the lights in my neighborhood are dark and my neighbors don’t participate in trick-or-treating, some of the kids don’t even bother dressing up! Not only that, but apparently no one taught some of these kids to say “Trick-or-treat!” when they go up to your door. They just walk up to me and stick out their bag of candy, lol! It just seems like my neighborhood used to be so much more alive on Halloween.
