<p>I applied regular decision (from NY), April is so far awayyy.</p>

<p>My dad heard on the radio that Hamilton has stopped giving merit scholarships. Anyone else aware of that? I was completely ****ed.</p>

<p>Yes, Hamilton stopped awarding merit-based scholarships last year. They didn't offer that many to begin with, though.</p>

<p>S has applied to Hamilton. Great college and beautiful campus. It is definitely in his top five colleges. If he gets in, dad will have a lot to say regarding this super school. But, it will be his choice. S has really fallen for the colleges he already has gotten in, which is a great thing.</p>

jollymon,u are right the campus is beautiful! A lot of people are going for LACs this year including me :)
I am just an average student. But I love to attend a LAC.</p>

<p>Intl applicant. Expository prose waived for me, so they're looking at my SAT Writing essay; which was ****e. So I ain't getting in.</p>

<p>20legend, my school does not grade assignments n all . So we are in the same boat. Did not ur school have a grading policy either?</p>

<p>Nah, my school assignments just don't match Hamilton's definition of an expository prose.</p>

<p>I'm applying ED II, and I find out in less than 20 hours. Yikes.</p>

<p>Super pumped about Hamilton-- I stayed with my friend on campus and I am THOROUGHLY satisfied with the party scene.</p>

<p>I applied as a philosophy major. I'm from New York. I don't think I'll get in though, because my SAT scores were near the school's 25th percentile.</p>
