<p>According to the Hamilton website, the college has received a massive number of applications to sift through this year. Great news for Hamilton albeit there is increased competition/anxiety for Class of '11 hopefuls. Good luck, guys.</p>
<p>I'm elated to read this, because I have always loved Hamilton and there has been a perception for a long while that the College was resting on some very old laurels. This does indeed indicate some 'positive momentum'. :)</p>
<p>yeah, it's good to hear that there's been increase in no. of applicants this year..but it also means that the competetion will be tougher this year..oo i'm already with my fingeres crossed.</p>

<p>hey, will it hurt if a dont send my sat score to hamilton? i mean as hamilton's a sat optional college will not sending sat in any way decrease my chances/</p>
<p>^^As long as you fill their standardized testing requirement, I can't imagine you would be penalized for not choosing to use your SAT scores. -shrug-</p>
