hand score?

i think my score for USH was messed up somehow. Using the list compiled by everyone on the board i was supposed to get a 740 but instead got a 670. I am thinking about requesting hand scoring. I did skip a few (4 omit), which may have thrown off my grid, meaining I bubbled in the wrong number after the one i omitted. Will hand scoring take that into consideration, or is it just for erasers?

bump 10 char

Have you tried calling and asking?

I'm hoping that hand scoring will fix the problem I had with bubbling in the wrong test code. When I called and asked, the guy told me that hand scoring would help if I include a note saying I probably bubbled the test code in wrong or something.

Yes! I got a 670 on my US too! And I thought I did pretty well on the test. I would ask for a re-score but I don't have $50 to spend. I'll just re-take the test in Oct.

SAT 2...I don't get it.

Re-scoring is BS. Test reports should be correct in the first place. It's not right for Collegeboard to be charging $50 for a mistake they made.

If CB's incorrect (hand scoring = higher), then you get your money refunded.
