Hand Scoring Service

Hello,

I have ordered the Hand Scoring Service from CollegeBoard as I am 100% sure they missed up the scoring of my SAT. I know that I omitted 2 on the Math section and they say (in the SAT Score Report) that I omitted 12! My question is this: how long does it take for the CollegeBoard to respond with my new scores? Does anyone on here have any experience with this? I sent the Hand Scoring Service form (via snail mail) on June 25. When do you think I should expect a response by?

Thanks in advance! :)

Was this for the June 1st SAT? Mine says I omitted 10 when I omitted 0!

Hey s4mgl0,

Yes, this was the June 1st SAT. I have seen a lot of people around CC who seem to have had the same issue as you and me. I think CollegeBoard made some kind of large error scoring a bunch of the tests. I tool the May test and get a 2030 and then I got a 1840 on the June test. When I got the score report it said I had omitted 16 questions on the whole test when I know I had only omitted 2!

I have ordered the hand scoring service because they refund your money if they made an error. Do you know how long it takes? Are you going to get the hand scoring service? I recommend you do, we must get what should be ours!! :)

Do you think the error could have given us higher in any areas?

Hey s4mgl0,

Yeah, I expect mine to be about 200+ points higher. Mine was not slightly mis-scored; mine was extremely miss scored!

Do you expect your score to be higher?

For math definitely. Let me know how hand scoring works out

I have the same problem! My score report says i omitted 1 on math and 12 in CR. I know i didnt omit anything. Im considering hand scoring but not entirely confident. People say theres no point. Do u guys know the last date they will accept my request?

I believe it is something like 5 months after the test date. I have already sent my application for hand scoring service. I highly recommend you do the same. I think we should get what is ours!

I will tell you guys how it goes.
