[SAT] Has anyone requested Hand-scoring verification service from the CollegeBoard?

Have you ever requested hand-scoring verification service?
(please response) 1. Yes / 2. No

If you respond 1. Yes, why did you request (i.e. I didn't complete answer bubbles, I put my answers with wrong order, etc.)?

So, did you get new results or same results?

Thank you!

Usually people who think they aced a test and are shocked by a less-than-expected score are the ones who ask for hand-scoring. The originally result usually stands.

I requested hand-scoring for the Biology Subject Test because they scored it as Biology-Ecological when I'd actually taken Biology-Molecular. That was a month and a half ago, and I still haven't heard from them.

SAT forum kthx.

I am sure that my first ACT scores were wrong. I had 30 points on every section but I e.g. left 1/4 of the reading part questions blank. I didn't request hand-scoring though for obvious reasons.

cameliasinensis, I have the exact problem with College Board as you have. Frankly, College Board customer service sucks big time. Last week I checked "My Scores" section and corrected Biology-M scores were posted (I got a raise of 80 points!!). You may want to log on to the site and check yours.
But the Customer Service has no clue, still says they are checking, which means they will not let the colleges know about the correction any time soon, which means we will miss its benefit in admission decisions. I HATE COLLEGE BOARD!

^^^ I checked the website again. They processed the scores on Friday, so colleges should get them next week. So, it itook them 8 weeks! Still, it is good that they're sending before admission decisions (I hope!).

My score still hasn't been changed, but I didn't get through to them until six or seven weeks ago, so maybe I just have to wait another week or two before anything happens... :(

My S requested hand scoring of his November SAT in mid December. The score report showed that he had omitted 2 questions on the math section. He firmly believes that he did not omit any questions. The College Board folks are very hard to deal with on the phone. After finally talking with a supervisor last week, it appears that they have completed the hand scoring at the end of January (6 weeks after we paid the $) and they say that his score is unchanged. We are supposed to get something in the mail, but have still not gotten anything.
