haha me!! i dont have a graphing calculator and i dont know how to use one either! been getting around 600-650ish timed (barrons) with loads of careless mistakes. sigh. while doing all those questions i kept thinking it was SOOO much easier what a graphing caluclator could do for me.

i have a graphing program on my computer and it helps so much in understanding stuff! so yes -- do people usually get 800s with scientific calculators? (man mine cant even solve cubic and quadratic equations like my friend's)

600-650 Barrons is a possible 800 on the real thing, so your good. If you know the fundamentals, you don't really need a graphing calculator anyways. Try to see if your school can lend you one though.

I used a scientific calculator cause thats all we're allowed here unless your taking general maths, and if your taking general maths your not taking Maths II lol

I did okay 760.. but was also the week before my MAJOR final exams so I barely studied. I basically read through the entire princeton review book. did 2 practice tests and that was that... all in the week before the test.

Penna, it may look like whoever's you want it to, but if it can solve quadratics, cubics, do integrals, sigma, vectors, stats, complex numbers, etc. and not be a graphing calculator (which means you can use it in most math classes that don't allow Graphing calculators) then I'm not complaining.

xav i didnt mean to insult your calculator but i realise it could be taken that way... Was just trying to say my sister is crazy. Oh well my test is over haha :) left a blank!

must use calc. id say that 70% of my test was done on my calc. didnt understand half of the concepts but got answers one way or another through the use of the graphing function. highest score on barrons: 670 real score: 800.
