Hey guys, is it really possible to score 800 with the scientific calculator? I just don't have the graphing one.

I’m gunning for an 800 with a scientific calc but I often need to resort to trickery to solve some of the questions I’ve come across in practice tests (eg: sketching/analysing graphs with differentiation). You could probably work around the questions that REQUIRE a graphing calc and still get an 800 if you’re really good with the other areas.

I don’t recall many questions on Math II where a graphing calculator is required (although I haven’t taken Math II in a while), so if you can answer everything else correctly, you can probably still get an 800 on Math II. I had a few problems where the graphing ability was useful, but they probably could’ve been solved without it. Let me know if you see any Math II problems that require graphing capability.

You should try to get a graphing calculator if possible. It really helps. I recently took the Math II and got a 800. I used my TI89 on a good fourth of the test.
