Happy New Year!

Happy New Year everyone! :)

Yes, let's celebrate. (We who do not venture outside our homes on New Years Eve... but read CC.)

My resolutions:

Win 10x as many awards as last year.

Join 15 worthless clubs.

Volunteer for 500 hours.

Get all A+ or better.

Oh wait - I'm a senior! Never mind. :-)

Happy 2007
Good luck to every1

Good luck to all of this year's applicants. Now the waiting begins. I thought I would be waiting for news of the first of the guys on my math team to apply to an out-of-state college, but he has just heard that he got a full ride in the honors program at State U, so he didn't submit his application to MIT. Thus, I'm not particularly rooting for any specific MIT applicant this year, but I wish you all the best. As I continue coaching a math team and setting up local AMC testing for students who can't test through their schools, I'm sure I'll meet other young people who may be interested in the colleges whose forums I usually hang out in, which is why I hang out in those forums.

I wish I met you....

Are any other seniors scared of the number "2007"? It still feels like the future to me...
