Hardest and Easiest AP Exam

World History was a joke, and so was USH.
English Language was a bit difficult, but manageable.
Bio was pretty easy as well, but chemistry was a bloodbath

Both of the Econ tests were easy. But I guess I should have studied more for Physics. Woops.

Calculus BC and Computer Science A were really easy

I took Physics B last year and I felt as if I would have gotten a 4, but got a 5 still

AP chemistry required the most studying for me. AP government was the easiest. If you took the class within a year, itā€™s pretty hard not to get at least a three.

Hardest: Bio for me. Thereā€™s just so much memorization for different processes; itā€™s crazy.

Easiest: Psych, mainly because it was my favorite subject.

Maybe the hardest AP test in my school was AP Chem. The teacher isnā€™t that great, and only one person in the past two years passed with a three. She was our valedictorian.

Hardest: Art History. Not my favorite class and went blank on the testā€¦

Easiest: Calc AB. Math is just that class that comes easy to me. The FR my year was HELL!! Still one of the easiest exams to get a 5 considering the insane curve.

What score did you get for your AP Physics B exam and what book did you use? i.e. PR

I think the hardest for me will be biology since I donā€™t really like it.

The easiest might be math.

Iā€™ll see what it really is in due time.

I have AP Physics B this year, any suggestions like books [PR?], important chapters?

i completely agree. ap unite states history is so difficult because there are so many facts to learn! i took ap european and though it was a longer time period, it was less dense in history. united states history drives me crazy!

Math and Science:
Chemistry (concepts)
Physics C (integrating calculus with concepts - no pun intended)
Calc BC (But most people who take this test are ā€œmath peopleā€ so it might not be tough for many)
Biology (memorization)

Toughest foreign language seems to be French. I go to a really good private school, and only one person has ever passed the AP French test. He got a 3. He lived in France for two years.

History: APUSH seems to be most in-depth. World history is pretty general. Euro is somewhere in between.

2009
Hardest: Chemistry
Easiest: World History (hella easy. FR was so easy that year. Silk Road - man, so much information you could write into your essay. Racial ideologies in the Americas (slavery, blacks, Indians) - so much information about that too. Iā€™m shocked that no one else I know who took the exams didnā€™t get a 5)

For those of you who have said that the APUSH test was hard-did you read the book? Iā€™ve been reading every chapter and have been getting the highest scores in my class on tests and 9ā€™s and 8ā€™s on my practice essays. Iā€™m wondering if it was just a lack of effort that influenced your decision or if it is really quite difficult?
Also-I donā€™t know if this is allowed, butā€¦what were the essay topics on last yearā€™s test?

For me, any math-heavy exams would be extremely difficult, while the more verbal exams, while still hard, I could do very well on. So for me, Physics C would be the hardest, and English would be the easiest. Note I have not taken either of those two exams.

Easiest have been CalcAB, Bio, and US Gov

Hardest has been world (only one I didnā€™t get a 5)

I actually think the Languages are the hardest.

Hardest: US History.
Easiest: Chemistry.
God, history requires so much memorization, most of the time I just canā€™t get motivated to do itā€¦

For me, the Latin AP was the hardest, because it not only requires a lot of studying during the year youā€™re taking it, but many years before the test actually learning and getting used to the language.

From what I hear, the psych AP is the easiest

Hardest: Music Theory
Music Theory is a test which requires reading, writing, listening, and singing. Itā€™s more varied than almost any other test in what you need to know. Iā€™m not a music student (I donā€™t play an instrument) so the class is really hard, because I have to practice for hours to try and recognize basic concepts (eg. ear training for intervals).

Languages are also up there, if youā€™re not a native speaker.

hardest: ap physics c, ap french
easiest: ap psychology.
