“Easiest AP: Chemistry”

said nobody ever.

Easy and hard are subjective and even moreso it depends on the way your teacher conducts the class

if your self studying…
Easy: AP Pysch (I’m taking the class, but reading through the text once with a few prac questions gets me a around 95 on the tests)
AP Env (self-studied this and got a 4, easy course but do know all of the PR review book! with AP bio knowledge on env. along with basic chem and a bit of physics then this class is even easier)

Hard: All the other AP sciences are known to be “hard” and the AP languages (for non-natives)

I haven’t taken all of the AP exams, but for me personally, it goes like this:

The easiest seems to be AP Psychology. It’s just not that hard to grasp. I haven’t taken it yet, but the material is super easy and I’m not worried at all.

The hardest is generally the sciences. I’ve done AP Chemistry and that was brutal. AP Physics now is very hard, too. Honorable mention goes to AP Spanish; that class is torturing me. But, I think it’ll take a little less than the sciences do.

I did the 2 Physics Cs before taking Chem, and I feel like Chem is pretty easy compared to those two.

I know this is the science section, but has anyone taken the AP English/Composition junior year?

I’m DEFINITELY not an english person and I know I did quite bad on my in-class essay (still didn’t get it back though).

And I’m afraid you can’t really study for this exam, whereas compared to sciences, it’s different.

Should I start preparing now, and if so, how??

Thanks

How easy are the tests for AP Psychology, AP environmental science, AP World History, AP European History, APUSH, AP French

AP Psychology, AP Environmental Science are easy self-studies for most people.
AP World and APUSH are a little bit more difficult to self study but easy with a class.
AP European History is regarded as the most difficult history exam.
AP French-You probably shouldn’t take it unless you are a native speaker.

At my school the hardest is Physics C and then Chem. Easiest is Stats and Environmental Science

Of the APs I’ve taken, AP Chem was definitely the hardest. I’m taking AP Lit now, and the class isn’t very hard but I’ve heard the exam is difficult. The easiest is definitely AP Psychology. Also, I’m taking AP Government and Politics right now, and so far it seems pretty easy.

Physics C is definitely the hardest for me. Makes every other AP I’ve taken (WH, Stat, CS, BC Calc, Econ) look like a joke.

So far, I’ve taken World History, Calc AB, Physics B, US History, Chinese (took alternate exam), Comp Sci A, Physics C Mech (took class at school), Physics C E&M (self studied, no class offered), Calc BC and I’ve had a 5 on all but Chinese.

I’d have to say that by far the easiest was Calculus AB. Our class’ exams were much harder. Computer Science was a joke as well. The hardest for me was Chinese, mostly because I’m not a native speaker, but after that the essays and amount of information to memorize for US History can be a real pain. World History on the other hand is really formulaic when it comes to essays and more general.

If calculus isn’t your strong suit, then sure, Physics C can be tough. But for me, it was probably easier than Physics B simply because there is a smaller breadth of topics to deal with and the curve is so generous ( ~55-60/90 for a 5, but maybe that is because it’s so hard for most people). I used a Princeton review book and some of the MIT Open Course ware to self study E&M.

Generally, the teachers at my school have the tendency to make everything that we do in class harder than the AP test, which isn’t always the best for our grades, but definitely makes the AP test less stressful.

Now I’m taking AP Lit, AP Micro/Macro Econ, AP Am/Comp Gov, and AP Chem. These are probably going to be among the hardest AP tests I’ve had (especially Lit because I’m a really slow writer). Chem feels like it will be harder than Physics C for me.

So would Psychology, Envi Sci, Literature, and Lang be the easiest to self study for (assuming that you’re pretty good at English)?
My school offers no AP courses, so I’d be all on my own if I decided to take them…

yeah pretty much ^^^

Easiest that I’ve taken: AP Stats
Hardest: AP Physics C

Easiest: AP Calculus AB
Hardest: AP Chemistry

I’ve taken 4 exams (US History, English Language, Statistics, and Computer Science) so far, and I’ll take 3 more this May (Calculus BC, Government, and Chemistry).

Of the ones I’ve taken, I felt like English Language was probably the hardest. US History is easy if you study (although I still did better on English: a 5 vs. a 4), but it is a lot of memorization and some tricky writing.

It’s kind of a tie between Statistics and Computer Science for the easiest. Computer Science obviously requires a little bit more creativity and ingenuity, but Statistics requires memorizing certain procedures.

This year, I imagine Chemistry will be my hardest exam, and Government will be the easiest (from what I hear, anyway). As long as I concentrate, Calculus shouldn’t be an issue. I can integrate and differentiate very easily. It’s just the algebra that gets in the way.

Out of the three exams I’ve taken thus far, I’d say English Language was, relatively, the hardest, although not too excrutiatingly difficult to begin with, while US History was the easiest. Euro was right there in the middle.

I’m taking Statistics, Biology, Psychology, and English Literature in May; I anticipate that Psychology will become the easiest and Biology will become the hardest!

Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I927 using CC

Based on actual AP exams I’ve taken, and the mock exams I’ve taken during school, I’d say

Hardest: AP Physics B
Easiest: AP Chemistry/AP Psych

Based on my experience:

Hardest: AP Music Theory
Easiest: AP English Language

In high school I took AP Bio, AP Economics, AP Music Theory, AP Government, AP Statistics, AP Chemistry

Easiest: Economics, Bio, and Music Theory
Hardest: Statistics, Government, and Chemistry
