I hear that Miami offers the Harrison Scholars program to high-achieving students. Does anyone here know much about the program? How competitive is it? What type (stats and ecs-wise) of students get accepted to the program?

There are between 1,000-1,500 applicants per year, and 40-45 students are selected. The average ACT is a 34, average SAT is a 1530 (M+V), class rank is typically top 1-2%. I think the mid-50% range for ACTs is a 33-36. Students' ECs are all over the place, but quite a few are nationally ranked in their main EC, whether it's music, forensics, a sport, etc.
