Harvard Admissions plus Subject Tests

I'm a senior in high school. Alright, here's my dilemma:

I applied early action for Stanford, and just got rejected yesterday, which, although not unusual, gets me a little bit antsy about my other colleges (Stanford was the only early choice I applied to). I have a weighted GPA of about 4.63, 2150 on my SAT, 760 on the Math II subject test, with low scores on Chemistry and US History (650 and 670, though I am confident that, by the 21st, I will have much better Chemistry scores). I have no sports under my belt, I am student body president, with enough clubs and community service, and my essays are pretty original and solid. Oh, and I'm poor and white.

I am not too naive about the admissions process of Ivy Leagues, but I'd like to know if I should try to hold back from Harvard and other schools my low subject test scores. I listed them on the commonapp, and said in an additional info box that I'd retake the tests, but I might call them up and ask them to clear the original Chemistry and all of the U.S. History tests completely. Additionally, with the information given above, do you think that I would have a good chance of getting into any big schools at all? Please, all I want is an honest, blunt opinion.

My dilemma exactly. I’ve got 4 SAT II scores, one I’m not particularly proud of. I’m wondering if I should submit ALL my scores or omit that not-so-good one…it’s a language test in the high 600s.

Do whatever you want… Frankly I think that the hiding of information presents a dishonest representation of you as an applicant, but it is your choice.

Why? That’s the entire point of score choice.

OK, so total honesty --a 2150 will make ivies tough and we don’t know what a 4.63 means at your school. You could be Val or barely top 10%. And yes, I wouldn’t show any top school where I had a choice any score than starts with a six! Make sure you have some matches yup love!!
