Harvard and UCLA

Hey everyone! These are my top two schools on each coast. I was wondering how you guys think I will do in admissions.

GPA: 4.0 W / 5.1 UW
Class Rank: 3/500
SAT: 1530
SAT II: World History - 780; Bio M - 740; Math II - 790
AP: 5 on World, Lang, Calc, USH; 4 on Bio; 3 on Seminar
Awards: Rotary Youth Leadership Award, International 1st and 3rd place robotics awards, and the normal school awards that you’d see for anyone else who cared about college enough to post a chance me

Extracurriculars
Robotics - Participated for almost 10 years in robotics. I wrote one of my essays on this. Nationally and internationally recognized many times prior to high school. Got the highest score in the world for my age group on the Robotics Achievement Test going into freshman year. Won 1st and 3rd place in one of the 3 sectors at the Global Conference on Educational Robotics. President of my school’s club for 3 years.
Academic WorldQuest - 2nd place regionals last year. 1st place regionals this year, 20th in nationals.
Youth and Government - 4 years. Held multiple positions in my home delegation, and holding a statewide election this year. :slight_smile:
Youth Committee - Part of my city’s youth advisory sector. We’re working on a project to establish No-Idling Zones at elementary and middle schools around the city, so I’m running for chair next year so I can have a bigger impact on that awesome project.
National Honor Society - Kind of saved the club from ruin last year. It was a pretty amazing story, so I wrote one of my essays on this. President this and last year.
Volunteering at a local hospital - Discharges and escorts.
Work - Unpaid job helping family business. I help out whenever they need a break, which is maybe twice a month during school and 4 days a week during summer.
Piano - I’ve played piano for 8 years. I’m not the best pianist, but I did receive a $3,000 scholarship to ISOMATA.

Other Extracurriculars (I’m not even sure if I should include them or leave it at 8 on the Common App. If you have any suggestions, I’m all ears.)
Camp Counselor
Link Crew
EI (my friends and I started a program to teach kids with learning disabilities science, because it’s cool, but it wasn’t as enriching to the kids as we thought it would be)
ECP (like a long term Link Crew; upperclassmen pair with underclassmen and help them through high school and applying to college)
International Business Alliance Program (giving solutions to a farmer in Nigeria to help his farm. not sure he even listens to our research so I joined this for nothing)

Teacher Recs:

1 = Astonishing.

2 = Very good.

Counselor Rec:

1 = Pretty good.

Supplement Rec Possibilities:

1 = The Nigerian farmer is going to write a recommendation for me in Hausa, and it's going to be translated. It going to be cool, but also coerced. Should I use this?

2 = Youth Committee Liaison - 6/10

3 = Piano teacher - 7/10

Side Note #1: To me, my common app essay is perfect.
Side Note #2: Thanks
Side Note #9: If curious, I’m also applying to UCSD, UC Irvine, and Columbia.
Note #1: Thanks

UCLA: Low Reach
Harvard: High Reach

Your middle school robotics awards don’t count. Sorry.
