Lol so i just went to make sure that i have access to my portal right, and I didnt know that we had to submit a mid-year report? It didnt say it anywhere on CommonApp so i had no idea. And i am on spring break so there is no way that my counselor is going to submit it. and its due tomorrow anyways so. am i completely screwed?

I got deferred at Dartmouth (accepted at Emory, Colgate and Sarah Lawrence) but now that I had time to think, Harvard is definetly mu top choice… I had some big news a few weeks ago so I hope they caught the admission officers’ attention. Just a few more hours guys!
They suppose to send you an e-mail about missing documents. So hang in there.
I sent an e-mail to my counselor about the mid-year reports in January. She uploaded the report for all the colleges at the same time. I believe counselors get a notification. If you filled out the counselor’s contact info on CommonApp you should be O.K.
@veelynne Isn’t the application revoked if materials are missing? But again, it’s not anything missing on your part. If anything, it’s your guidance counselor’s duty. Let’s hope they don’t penalise you for that.

Most people on here have already been accepted to some elite school and are still wanting to get into an Ivy, and a few like myself are hoping for a miracle so that we don’t have to go to our safeties lol

@sajidur4 im not sure, all i know is i invited my counselor to fill that stuff out in like late december and it says on my harvard portal that my mid year report is missing so. if it gets revoked cause my counselor didnt submit it or forgot im going to be kind of pissed, but i also should have kept up with it, so my fault too. im kind of hoping that i was supposed to get an email about a missing document, and since i didnt get one hopefully i wont get penalized for it.
I got a likely from Penn but I am still looking forward to hear from the rest :-??

Aaaand we have 13 hours and 45 minutes left. This is not going to be a productive day for me.
I applied to Harvard, thinking that a miracle will happen. Everyone here is expecting to get accepted, but we know that only 3.6 or 3.8% will be accepted. I happen to have low stat, but great unparalleled experience from which I hope my acceptance; however, I just want to put it out there for those who are so eager for the decisions and get rejected - its okay. It’s not the end of the world, and please don’t be depressed saying “I worked so hard in high school, and this happens.” It happened to me a lot of time because I, too, have been rejected from several universities. I just wanted to put this out there, hope I didn’t offend anybody.
