***Harvard Class of 2019 Applicants Discussion/Decisions***

Less than 12 hours!!!

Have you received any reply from Harvard for the email that you recently sent to the undergrad admissions office? (questions, updates, etc.)

@gwsunday I received a reply (about two weeks ago, I think) about a question I had on interviews and they replied.

I applied, but never did interview… Not that I denied, I just never got the choice…Is it bad?

@KaranMIT No. I didn’t get an interview either. A lot of admits don’t get interviews and still make it.

Good luck today guys. I am almost sure CC will crash, lol. Also based from previous years’ threads decisions won’t come out exactly at 5, for some reason they usually don’t.

God I actually had a dream about Harvard the other day.

@slights32‌ same! And I was so excited, then so disappointed when I woke up :\

Mind sharing your stats?

Mine was I was rejected @eabs97‌

I just got an email from the Harvard Gazette (I signed up a long time ago, thinking if they had my email in their system it would be considered demonstrated interest) and I panicked and nearly fell down my stairs. Whoops

@veelynne @sajidur4 Harvard didn’t “revoke” your application. If anything was missing, they would have contacted your school. If items were still missing they would have contacted you. They aren’t in the business to randomly leave files incomplete. Sure it happens but it’s not as if they’re sitting around being lazy about it. Everyone should frankly get away from their computers. The earth is not going to split open based upon the decisions you’ll receive today. Some of these posts are downright unseemly. This incessant posting and moaning is nuts. Read some of these replies – do you want that kid to be your classmate? Your roommate? Yikes! LOL . If you’re even HALF viable for Harvard, then you’ve worked extremely hard for four long years. Go have some fun. Get away.

@Abdu11ah007‌ You applied to some of the most selective US colleges yet your stats are extremely extremely below the norm. Given the list you posted earlier, you will receive not one admit or waitlist. I’m afraid you’ve chosen your target schools in an extremely unwise manner.

Ya I guess, I just took a chance, I have safety schools tho but not in the US

@T26E4‌ Hey buddy, chill down. No need to discourage him. Harvard will make apt decision - if it’s rejection, he will face it. Let him face his acceptance too. At least he applied, now he did his part. And @Abdu11ah007‌ I’m impressed with your SATII scores. Trust me, I am below your stat, yet I still applied. Why? Why not??? Don’t worry about us chancing you. Harvard will do that job in few hours - remain clam. Meditate. Good luck

@abdu11ah007 I mean, I understand trying. No one can hurt you for that.
Who knows? There have been crazier things in life.
I too am going to just stay away from CC today, trying to keep busy with work and what not.

So anxious but ultimately ready for whatever happens.
Best of luck to all. Let’s remember that a single college admissions decision (or serious of them) does not define us, nor does it determine the heights we will reach in life. We live in a country where hard work pays out, so hold on to hope and remain steadfast through all adversity and uncertainty.

@T26E4‌ true about the application process!!

Anybody know what time the decisions come out?
