Harvard Housing for a GSD student

<p>Hello all,
I was recently admitted into Harvard's Graduate School of Design (GSD) and am hoping to get some insight into my best housing options. I currently live in a cooperative house and would very much like to continue to do so in Cambridge, but it seems like that isn't really an option there.
What might be the best communal or group living situation available near Harvard/the GSD? Where are the best places to look for housing - especially with roommates - in the Cambridge area?
Thanks very much!</p>

<p>Have you looked at: [Harvard</a> Graduate School of Design - Homepage](<a href=“Home - Harvard Graduate School of Design”>Home - Harvard Graduate School of Design)</p>

<p>Harvard housing ([Harvard</a> University Housing](<a href=“http://www.huhousing.harvard.edu/HarvardUniversityHousing/index.aspx]Harvard”>http://www.huhousing.harvard.edu/HarvardUniversityHousing/index.aspx)) is definitely the best price you can get for the proximity to Harvard, but there aren’t any co-ops or anything, just traditional apartments. </p>

<p>Most people use services like Craigslist to find non-Harvard-affiliated apartments and roommates. In general, Harvard grad students who don’t live in Harvard housing live farther away from campus (e.g., in Somerville, Central Square, or East Cambridge), because housing in Harvard Square is quite expensive.</p>
