@Axxxxx I believe that decision day is usually late March. Most of the Ivies usually release their decisions from March 28th to March 31st. Also while you can submit additional materials, keep in mind that quality > quantity. Make sure that what you’re submitting actually helps your application.
Does anyone know if Harvard every has accepted anyone under a 2000 SAT? My mom wants me to apply there, but I think my chances of acceptance are unlikely since I have poor standardized test scores.
@katelynm What is your GPA? GPA is the WAY more important than your SAT score. What are you ECs like? If you check the Harvard Class of 2019 RD thread, you will see that a young man was admitted with an 1820 SAT and a 3.2 GPA. Of course it’s all dependent on each person’s situation.
@katelynm Of course there are people under 2000 SAT but there will need to be something unique or convincing about your app
Go to the Harvard Crimson by the numbers on Google and search for the class of 2019. Under the class makeup page, you can see the gap vs sat score of accepted students. I would give the link but I don’t know if CC will let me

So I have an extracurricular that I’m still debating about putting onto my Harvard application. I’m actually afraid that they won’t take it seriously. I need someone’s feedback on it. However it would require disclosing some personal information that could easily identify me and I don’t want spread that lol. So if anyone is interest, I’ll message you the details of this EC. No it is not inappropriate. I’m just nervous about how adcoms will perceive it.

@applyingin2015 harvard doesn’t publicly state it, so I am unsure either. Maybe call them and ask?

I know that they don’t but I was wondering if they at least consider sub scores informally. I called and they are closed “throughout the holidays”.
