I did as well
In the process of finishing mine up
Anyone else international + SEA in this thread? Just wondering. Because I am…
oh… and yes… RD to Harvard… after being deferred from Princeton ( T_T )
@pnguon I’m an international applicant from India. What about you?
I did an optional supplement too.
@pnguon SEA as in Southeast Asia?!
Oh wow so many people applying. Well best of luck to all of us!
@anotherdude Cambodia
@karakoram Yes! Southeast Asia!!!
@pnguon I’m from Singapore
When submitting a research supp I know you do it through the portal from harvard but on the common app for this question: “Do you intend to submit supplementary materials to be considered as part of the admission process to Harvard? Portfolio materials can illustrate special talents in academics or in one or more of the arts. These materials should be included only if you think they would significantly add to your application. Please see the website for more information.” do we mark yes but don’t use the portfolio section at the end?
@KShah16 Yes I received holiday party invitation for Central FL applicants to be held in Orlando 12/28.
That is, “Holiday Reception for Harvard Applicants and Students” on 12/28.
Sent in my app yesterday… im nervous. Waiting for an email to track the app. Just read about the interview and apparently if I don’t get contacted by the ad office, i wont be having one #crossesfingers
@fifteenpapers Select ‘No’ over there. Once you get access to your admissions portal, you can upload your papers over there.
@pnguon Haha. Same here. Cause apparently, if you don’t have get an interview in India, you’re not getting in. Also, it’s going to be really hard to get accepted in RD considering they only take ~10 Indians each year.
@anotherdude Good luck! I’m from Cambodia.
Hitting that submit button is going to be the most nerve-wracking thing ever. “Press the button to send in your application” more like “press the button to let go of all your control and let an ad-com partially determine where you will spend the next 4 years of your life”.
if you accidentally put “yes” on portfolio submission but then don’t end up using it, is that a problem?
@asappebble I don’t think so. They will just assume you said yes by accident or changed your mind about sending one. Most people don’t so you’re not at a disadvantage.
Research supplements were submitted through the portal only right? like i’m not crazy?
You know you’re not alright if while watching Harry Potter you wish you were a wizard so that you could cast a spell on the ad-com while they review your application.
Hi! Can anyone tell me when will Harvard RD result come out? Also can we submit journals and creative writings in foreign languages?
