Harvard SCEA Class of 2020 Applicant Thread

@nsliyromanov I’m so incredibly nervous. I won’t even be in school for the next two days; I can’t ask my guidance counselor if they’ve requested one until Friday.

@CDOESenior2k16 how do people know its the 10th though? is there a link online or something

@ballsohard2020 @CDOESenior2k16 I believe someone (in this thread) contacted admissions.

@ballsohard2020 I think that some people called the admissions office? Also it’s usually the Thursday or Friday before the 15th so people just assumed that pattern would continue this year

Just emailed my guidance counselor to let me know if they do ask. Goodbye, Harvard dreams. Hello, community college!

Does anyone know if getting an email about grades is a good or bad thing so far?

@cheerleader16 Did you get an email?

@cheerleader16 how were your grades last year. They may be looking to see an upward trend or something else

Wait, so if our grades were good last year, will they email us? (I had over a 100 weighted last year)

^^ no idea

@schroscat I really hope not

@CDOESenior2k16 I’m freaking out! I don’t know how I will survive the next few days. Can we contact people that applied SCEA last year? I might just ask on their thread…

@schroscat No, but I haven’t talked to my counselor in a bit. Should I ask her tomorrow if they have contacted her about it?

@cheerleader16 Please! I’m really stressed right about now, so any information would be a great help.

@nsliyromanov I had 1 B, first semester of AP physics. All of the rest of my grades last year were A’s. Should I be expecting that my guidance counselor was contacted by Harvard?

@schroscat Same! BC Calc<<<<
haha I doubt any of them will be hanging around the thread but messaging them is a good idea! On the one hand I feel like them asking is an indication that they’re interested and I’m nervous that I’m already out, but on the other hand BC Calc…

@CDOESenior2k16 Yale-NUS is Yale’s joint program with the National University of Singapore (NUS). It’s the first liberal arts campus in Asia I believe. And it has a 3% acceptance rate that is even lower for Americans. Pray for me :stuck_out_tongue:

I’m freaking out. I can’t wait any longer. And I don’t even wanna know if my recommenders were contacted X_X

@pubkid wow that’s crazy! Good luck!

I’d love to look at the Harvard 2019 EA results only thread but I can’t seem to find it
Does anyone have the link to it?
