Harvard SSP! Who got in!?

You must type it, I believe.

I think it depends on the class if its not math I suppose you type it...

Does anyone like Guster? They're coming to town sometime in August..

Warped Tour in August, anyone?

Hey SSPers. Just wanted to say sorry to all of you for the rules Harvard makes. I was in the yard last night with a few friends, just walking around, talking to a few random SSPers, and was yelled at by literally three proctors for violating "quiet hours." Wanted to make sure you are all aware that there are NO quiet hours during the actual school year. Have fun + don't get in too much trouble.

Gosh, justforgetme, you're such a renegade. Annenberg is so weird though (I get board though I'm not taking any classes), because no one I know is there! :( Let's see if some CCers can catch who I am.

So you spent all your Crimson Cash?

anybody know where in Boston is good for shopping, esp. if there are sales around now? Thanks!(help me! I have a shopping addict as a friend-me drowning in piles of clothes).
pS. she likes American Eagle and Hollister.

anybody find the print account thing SO F******* annoying????
And there's the no refund policy. Sucks!
Did any1 see the fireworks last night?
So worth reading textbooks until 2am afterwards to catch up on work!

Hey guys my name is Grace,
it seems like all of you are already over at Harvard SSP..
I am actually going for the short session II,
ANTHROPOLOGY (PSYCHIATRY) chourse..

I was wondering if there is anything you guys would suggest to bring or do whatsoever to get ready before going there ..

And, is it possible to take extracurricular activities even as a Session II student? ? ?

How's SSP so far?

DO we really have to do landuary by ourself in order to save money?

I'd really really appreciate any comment from you :D

Currently, i;m slightly worried about going..

Check out Newbury Street for shopping, or Cambridgeside Galleria (google for directions).

And learn to do your own laundry... you're going to have to do it sometime.

d harvard rules r stupid. apparentli ur not allowed to climb treez? :S
some1 in mah entryway climbed a tree yesterdae n a proctor took down his ID numer. Apparentli he has to c d dean .. =S

Why the hell would you be climbing trees anyways? That's one of the rules I've heard that actually does make sense.

Anyways, Grace, where are you staying, and what are you interested in? Tell us more about yourself.

Well, I am staying @ Hollis... (hope its right)
It seems like none of you guys are in this dorm.
Maybe b/c i applied for the dorm kinda late.

ANd,,,
I live in CA,, specifically Orange County.. (yes, OC! xD)
and.. I love all kinds of music... play piano, violin, and clarinet.
so I was hoping to join Orchestra or pop band at Harvard.. but apparenlty, Short session students can not enjoy those previleges..

I play tennis and love to run the track... lol
I am currently on this two-month commitment that i made myself so that i have to run everyday for one hour.. (as part of my diet plan ;P) so,, I shall be runnin around over at Harvard if they allow me...
DO they hab some kind of track field that we can run?

And.. what else...
I just like to make fun out of myself so that other pep laugh at me.
.. yeah.. that's kinda sad part.. but o well..

.... And... very exited and ..anxious to goto Harvard this summer and take psychiatry course. :D

That's cool, I'm a brass person myself, but I'm not in the band here. As for running, you can do that pretty much anywhere around Cambridge or along the Charles river.
If you want a track there's one across the river you can use, around Murr Center. If you go like Google maps or whatever and put it on satellite you can see. There's also a lake that I personally like called Fresh Water Pond or something like that about a mile away. There's a nice path that goes all the way around it, and it's a little over 2 miles. Terrifying at night though, but I do it anyways. Close to that there's another track at a park that I sometimes use.

I'm Dave and I'm in Matthews by the way, and you're definitely gonna like it here, Cambridge has everything.

Hey Dave in Matthews, did you see Dave Matthews?

No, not at Fenway, but I definitely wanted to. I saw them in June though in Michigan. Love Dave Matthews and I didn't even make that connection until I wrote that post.

Hi. I'm going to be a junior this year coming in short session 2. I signed up for the Anthropology (psychiatry) course but I think I'm getting in over my head. Any ideas of how hard its going to be? I've never taken any psych courses before and I'm thinking of switching out. O and also what are the rooms like in Canaday. Im in F34. Is there anyway besides places like this to find out who roommates are before hand?

NOO! Don't switch to some other course!
I am taking anthropology psychiatry course also!
And,, I heard its pretty basic because its supposed to be the "Introduction to Psychiatry.. and blah.." ^^

Don't quit!

Stay with me!!

Yeah, don't worry dude. I took Neurobiology as a sophomore and it was a great class. In fact I got an A, despite the curve.
