hmm i'm second on the waitlist for anthropology psychiatry! sigh i hope 2 ppl drop!

bored? come party in Greenough 403 anytime. just ask for Jessica xD

x3rose ,
what class are you originally registered for?

haha, yeah, greenough 403 is cool

i asked for the asian jessica the first time, haha

i was originally in international law (11th on waitlist). hopefully i get in, if not, i'll be taking astronomy which isn't something i'm SUPER interested in but i think much more interesting than like, colonialism in africa and celtic folklore/myth. i'm not that type of person.

haha, yeah, short session had such a limited range of choices.
But, you will still be coming to SS II, right?
oh, hey, i'm also Californian :D
I live in OC. you?

yes i am! i'm half packed already.. i'm from San Diego!! i'm leaving from long beach airport though... and i get to boston at 6am and have nothing to do til check in time at 1pm. sigh

Well, that's better than my case.
i arrive there on Sat. night and have to spend one night just SOMEWHERE until I will be able to check in on Sunday morning.
I think you can still check in 9 am , not 1 pm.
BUt, yeah, I am from Cerritos : ]

I am a full 8 week student living in Wigglesworth, I've got pretty much everything(libraries, dining hall, computer labs, the gyms) all figured out...anybody wants to meet up for a meal sometime after you huys arrive so I can show you/tell some more stuff?
if yes, list possible dates and times.

it was guys not "huys" sorry abt the typo

oh, the email they sent out said 1pm. try B&B's, they're cheap & nice. i hope i can check in early - that way i won't have to drag my luggage around for 7 hours.

btw, any advice for packing things? someone said anti-histamine cream for those mosquitoes.

theres not that many bugs around Wigglesworth, but I dont know about the houses, bring lots of tshirts(that way you can put off doing laundry, haha), and its VERY hot over here...good thing its been raining the past few days.

anyone going wednesday to the warped tour in fitchberg? im thinkin of it... but id have to miss both of my classes (and i think my friends officially bailed on me) but otherwise so yeah anyone interested in goin?

what is exactly is it? costs? any info?

ohh yeah... my teacher didnt teach for the last three classes so i couldnt ditch but w/e

hi guys... i'm going this summer (2007). i'm taking intro to econ (8-week) and got into pennypacker. i'm kinda frustrated because it's so far away and i really wanted to be in the old yard. besides, i'm not really so much of a party girl... i'm probably gonna stay very little in my dorm anyway, since i'm gonna enroll for a lot of activities, but i was just wondering what you guys know about it...
my e-mail is lauragmicu@yahoo.com , so IM me or send me an e-mail if you want more personal descussions!

Question:
I've heard from so many people (guidance counselors, etc.) that Harvard Summer School and in general Ivy summer schools are incredibly overrated..
True or False?

Wait...you guys know what dorm you're in? When did this happen? Am I missing something?

Aha....Pennypacker.

Sofrosyne, do you have the same guide I do? Because it essentially says "far away/partying" just like you do in your post.

Mr. Pretzel, this is last year's SSP thread. :)
