Harvard Transfer (wannabes) Unite

Still nothing.

p44, a sincere congratulations to you. I'm happy to see that you got in. Makes all those rejections seem meaningless now :)

I got in!!! Spring admitttt!!! Wash U for fall semester and then HARRRVARDD!!!

congrats, for shag!

Congrats! Do you think you'll choose Harvard over Georgetown?

for shaganov!!!!!!! YESSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i'm glad you got in :] who in the world would pick g-town over harvard though? haha

Wow...last year I was waitlisted for the most part everywhere...except YALE who coldheartedly rejected me.

Now...admit at Williams and Harvard for fall 06!

I tried to call and check out what the waitlist is like, but the office is closed until Tuesday. It's so tempting to remain on the waitlist in spite of the imaginary chances. What are you guys (the other waitlisted) doing?

Thanks Layla! I can't complain, since I came out of the transfer process pretty unscathed (accepted at harvard, penn & chicago; WL at yale; rejected at brown)--unless you take into account extreme anxiety and emotional instability since november! congrats to everyone else who got in, and hang in there to all the waitlisters (that's great news from Transfer 101)! Love to all CCers, this site has helped me through it all!!!!!!!!

I'm so waiting~!

Can't believe I'm saying this- I swore not to about five hours ago-

Anyways atanas I'm waiting- I figure it can never hurt to-

and if transfer waitlists really are small then I think the best thing to do is wait- do u by any chance have the waitlist figure for harvard?

junior transfers who got in were any of u guys waitlisted/rejected in ur freshman year in college?

I'm hoping I'm not going to be crazy enuff to apply again next year chances are I probably will~! haha! the human mind fascinates me!

janel-- i am going to go to Harvard in the spring over Gtown for the full three years. I am sure there is Harvard in your future, you love it so much, and you can spend all four, or however many years it may be, at graduate school at Harvard, and you'll have saved money by going to UMass and you'll keep your amazing grades and I know it'll all work out.
And thanks, forgiven!

Haha, thanks so much, For Shag. I did love it -- but was not getting my heart set on it, so I'm getting over it pretty quickly. I'm not sure that I want to give it another shot for grad school...but I'm sure I won't be able to help keeping it in the back of my mind. ;)

Good luck in your next few years there! Milk it for all its worth, young lady.

bumpitybump, i am a junior transfer, and have never applied to harvard before.

congrats guys!

Are you all going? Which semester? I was admitted for Spring '07, but am not sure so sure I could attend that semester. Let's keep in touch during this process...

i never applied to harvard before this year. (i am also a junior transfer.)

mr_sanguine: congratulations! i was admitted for fall '06.

why are u still awake bnx-

some serious excitement and intoxication going on~Ha!

haha..sort of. actually i went to bed really early last night and then woke up really relaly early. i must be used to getting 4-5 hours of sleep from all those exams i had last week...haha. crap. i'm so tired now though!

bumpity: you hear from any other schools yesterday?

yes I did- sadly, got rejected from stanford..sniff sniff..waiting on penn, planning my waitlist reversal strategy, and researching my alternate schools-

yea, i certainly can't sleep for more than four hours these days~it's almost unbelievable!

I got rejected too, so disappointing, and yes, I also slept only 4 hours last night...finally, similarly waiting on penn...
