Wow, are there any likely letters for the early round?
Yes, just for recruited athletes tho.
Does being a really good at an individual sport help, like by being captain and going to states many times?
@jeff1622 tune in at 5pm et on dec 12th to find out!!
Thank you so much
Hi guys! I’ve been lurking here for a little while and it’s been really helpful to me to see all the info about when decisions come out etc. Just wanted to wish everyone the best of luck on Tuesday. You all sound like brilliant people with fascinating stories and each of you are worthy of admission. I’m gonna leave off with something my teacher told me this week: “If you get in, it’s a reflection on you and your accomplishments. But if you don’t, it’s not a reflection on you but a reflection on how incredibly high-quality the school and its applicants are.” Good luck.
Stanford decisions out the way, its almost our time…
Cannot believe it’s a bit over 3 days from now @.@
When your friends apply to Stanford and your stressing over their results plus your own Harvard results that are coming. oof gonna be a long couple of days
@Chozley you sound like such a good friend. Can’t say I relate though bc Idaho gives automatic college acceptance to all graduates of Idaho high schools and most of my friends are staying in state.
The 12th? For some reason I thought it was the 15th?
Lol one of my friends was already admitted to her dream school ED…while celebrating her I realize that my rejection will look so much worse ahhhh
Hey, where can I find the 2021 applicant thread?
@marymarym just google “Harvard 2021 SCEA applicants” or “Harvard 2021 RD applicants” and it should show up in the results. May I ask where you are from?
How do you find out if you got in?
I think they send emails out on Tuesday and if you get a letter/package also it means you got in.
IMPORTANT:
Harvard essentially required SCEA applicants to submit financial aid materials so their decisions can include financial aid information if admitted. Will this show up right on the portal? How has it showed up in past years? (What I’m tryna ask is if I log on to the portal and I see a financial aid info link underneath the “Status Update” containing the admission decision, that should theoretically mean I was accepted.)
@MaybeHarvard2022 seems to know what he/shes doing
Nope. That’s not what it means. You just need to wait until decisions are released.
Just checked my portal – I don’t think that there is really any way to hack the system like that and check if you got in or not. Kinda a waiting game until Tuesday
Think about the wait as if it were the first three days after submitting your app - that 3 day period of time didn’t seem very long.
