Harvard University Class of 2023 SCEA Applicants

Travis Scott or not, the only comforting thought about Harvard for me right now is imagining Kylie having a photo shoot on campus in high-heeled boots.

ok y’all need to stop freaking out and just accept my word as gospel it’s the 13th.

jk

Stanford just announced that they’re December 7th… if only we were that lucky haha

What time have decisions been historically been released?

if you look back in the thread, someone listed it. It’s always the 11th, 12th, or 13th of December. The last two years, it has been the second Tuesday of December but no one knows for certain what this year will be

Hope that the longer you wait, the more you will appreciate it

In case anybody was wondering (including myself), Harvard doesn’t post EA decision dates on the official admissions website/social media, but allows the Crimson to include such information in articles - correct me if I’m wrong! (Drawing from last year’s thread)

What time of the day? Sorry I should’ve been clearer on what I meant

You’re wrong. In past years both the admissions site and twitter have had the updated date.

The last few years it’s been 5 p.m. ET

I think it was 7pm last year because I remember a girl getting rejected at our national honor society induction @skieurope

Looking back, you are correct. It was 7 last year. @lilyfullford

But I do think it’s been 5 for several years befor that. Do you think it will be 7 again? I do not want to get my probably deferal at a national honor society banquet haha. @skieurope

No idea.

@lilyfullford Wouldn’t it be great if it’s an acceptance while at the banquet?

Yes… but a deferral or a rejection would be worse especially since my entire grade is very very interested in this… @Dataminer

@lilyfullford oh wow, so many eyes on you now. No wonder you feel nervous. I pray that Harvard adcom hear the wishes of your entire school. Btw, was the long streak of 351 admits based on EA or RD?

At least now everything is so electronic—back in my day I somehow neglected to elect to be emailed the decision and didn’t realize that I hadn’t.

On a whim I logged into the admitted student site and my credentials actually worked—seriously the most exhilarating feeling ever and a wild way to find out the decision! Took getting over a little skepticism that it wasn’t a mistake!!

@MaybeHarvard2022 @skieurope so you would both say that it’s fine to use all 150 words in a paragraph style for the additional intellectual activities prompt? my activity is self-directed so it just makes more sense when i explain it out. plus, if they give us the space, then shouldn’t i use it to add another side of me to my application?

Ahah my school is tiny and a very tight knit community not as impressive as I’m sure you think! I am not sure but in my recent memory, EA @Dataminer
