@lovespink I would check their twitter because they will generally give a more specific date there.
Also has anyone received the authorization of allowable charges documents on their financial aid portal? It seems like its only for enrolled students. Is it something that all RD applicants have? Personally, I’m trying not to get my hopes up because this form could honestly be for everyone and not just people who are likely to be accepted.

@Overtheline That’s when I’m assuming it is based on previous years but has that been confirmed?
Twitter post today HMC admission.
Thanks!
@Overtheline - thank you!
Does anyone know how many applications they received this year?
Over the last 3 years, between 4,000 and 4,200 applications were received. I doubt that number will change by any material amount.
Is there any chance to get in without an Arts/Socials recommendation? I mean, I don’t want to get in as such, it’s one of the colleges my parents forced me to apply to cause other kids did so (y’all cringe at Indian society). I might get a new phone if I get in though
Anyway, do I have a chance?
Good luck everyone! Just a few more hours until decisions are released. Remember to post your stats when you post if you were accepted, etc. It really helps people next year see the trends.
Are anyone’s portal down or is it just me?
what is the link to check decision?
babu!!!
Babu!
what does the acceptance letter look like
Does anyone know why they more than doubled the number of accepted students this year?
^^^ please ignore the above sorry I accidentally compared two different figures
Hi guys! I got in, which I was SUPER excited about, but my family is also full pay. I have a shot at the psp scholarship, but I doubt I’ll get one. I got accepted to Smith with a large merit scholarship, and it would be 30,000 dollars a year cheaper. What do you guys think about Harvey Mudd engineering vs. Smith engineering (are they even comparable?)?
I’m in love with most of Mudd, but I also love running and biking and sleeping an adequate amount. Are these compatible?
@Auracle Congrats! I’m a current frosh at Mudd.
I’m not familiar with Smith’s engineering department, but Mudd was recently ranked the best Undergraduate Engineering Program among schools without a doctorate, so I think that speaks for itsef… As for the $30,000 difference, you’ll have to do some soul searching. Mudders do tend to make a nice salary after graduation, but it’s still a HUGE difference in cost. Best of luck to you on that.
Also, I’m an athlete at Mudd, I do relatively well in most of my classes, and I usually get enough sleep (I’d say average of 7 hours). It’s not easy, and I get pretty stressed out during the semester, but it’s definitely doable.
I did get in. Waiting for FINAID that will be out on the 19th. 1500 SAT (790math,710read). 13 APs. 750 SAT II math 2, 720 math 1, 680 BioM.
