Has any one gone to the DIY program? Is it worth it?

The Do it Yourself Program is for people who have been admitted, and I was wondering if anyone attended it yet. There more info online if yall want to see..but u get to sit in on two classes and meet teachers and students. Sounds good to me so i might do it..any comments? Did you like it..was it worth attending?

I posted the exact same thing a few days ago, still debating on going too
What major are you in?

oh i put health sciences but im gonna switch to biochem or chem. how bout u? it sounds like a good thing to go to. i might go over spring break. are u a guy or grl?

I’m a guy, got in for Creative Producing

thats awesome. what were ur stats? i kinda want to switch into film but for now imma stick with sciences and then take a few classes in theatre and see if i like it. it seems like there are some successful ppl who made it to broadway in mamma mia (it was in their view book) but thats probly one of the few that they really emphasize to make the skool look good lol

i want to transfer to NYU eventually though…people say that’ll change cause u really like it where ever u go and end up staying but idk.

Well i’m one of those people who think if you have a top choice school, transfer from a JC rather an a 4 year…less expensive and easier
Buttt I had a 3.5 weighted, 1770 SAT, 24 ACT, and HORRIBLE subject tests (440 and 520 us history and lit)

it’s me still. yeah i was thinking of doing that but then i called the school and stuff and posted on their forum for like the actual school where administrators answer questions and they said it doesnt matter where u go as long as ur competitive. i mean…yeah i would still go to JC to be on the safe side but i reeally dont want to live here anymore and its gonna be a year before i can transfer. i also want to have the “freshman experience” hah and LA sounds good to me. or orange county if thats diff.

hah and yeah i had HORRIBLE subject test scores too lmao actually the same as u for one! i took chem, french, and math 2. i got a 440 on both the first 2 and 610 on math 2. it kinda sucks considering, im in calculus 2. haha
