has anyone been accepted into psych major without completing the transfer prereqs?

<p>i plan to transfer to uci for its psychology and social behavior, but 2 of the prereqs listed on assist (research design and intro to crim..) are not provided at my cc. i know that it says that completion of prereqs are not necessary but i am still worried. </p>

<p>has anyone been accepted without completing the prereqs?
and does this work for TAG as well if the prereqs are not completed? </p>

<p>My daughter had the same pre-reqs missing last year, she TAG’d and was admitted, inevitably she chose UCSB which has been amazing.</p>

<p>I wouldn’t worry that much if the pre-reqs aren’t offered at your CC or a nearby one. I’ve known people with the same major and a few missing pre-reqs get into more selective schools. I’m sure your tag will still work and you’ll be accepted.</p>
