I am a new transfer student Junior, and I need to change major because I chose a wrong major, that I was not interesting anymore. My current major is Accounting in business department, but I will change to Management Information system in the business department. This is really interesting for me.

Advisor said after first semester begins, I can submit the change of major form but I am not sure it will change 100%. and the advisor said I should take the MIS classes ahead of time so that it is chances and save time, but I worry because I do not know it really 100% will change.

Does it really change 100%? and should I take the MIS classes althought it has not changed yet?
If there is a limit to enter the MIS major, what happens to me? Cannot change? or next time?

What are the specific things that made you change your mind going from accountancy to MIS? I’m also a transfer student, starting class hopefully by Spring 2014 but I’m worried about my GPA. I might not get the major I want so I’m wondering if I could declare another major then just transfer to accounting next semester. So yeah also wondering about the change of major in CSU.

For reasons, I basicially did not learn anything about accoutning classes in college before transferring. So I am not confident to do it and not know fomula of accounting, and I begun to hate calculate number.

MIS, I like to use computer every day, and it is called sometime programmer although it is not into computer science. I took one class in college and I discovered that it was so funny. If I took the class earlier, I would have majorring in MIS. Also, I got good grade from the class.

Advisor said dont worry, I will change, but I worder if there is a limit to enter MIS. So anyway.

And in college, I took accounting 1B. It was so hard and begun terrible in taking accounting. So I was so unhappy with it during the school time.
