<p>I just read the little sticky up there at the top of the forums, and now I'm scared about pming my essay to people to critique. Anyone know of any bad experiences?</p>
<p>yeah, i just read it too, sent it to someone tonight for the first time, and now im like freakin out....i hope lqvolleyball or whatever isnt some evil person....</p>
<p>there're some tips you can take to avoid. sure, it's not a risk-free method; there'll always be a chance someone steals your essay. but as long as you take the nescessary precautions, then you minimise the risk (note that i said minimise, not avoid). if you feel uncomfortable even after this, then don't send to anyone.</p>
<p>hmm.... my essay is way too personal for anybody else to steal it in its entirity.........or so I think..</p>

your college essays should be too specific to you for anyone to totally steal it.</p>

<p>Of all I've read, I've only actually read one essay that I would even want to steal, LOL!</p>
