Has anyone ever head of the Technology & Management Program?

I don't know how everyone else works, but if there's a short term goal on my agenda I tend to work harder toward reaching that goal. With that being said, I was recently scanning over the GT website and found the Technology & Management Program. It's a two year program that starts your junior year and it something that really interests me.

So here's the deal. Like the website says, it's a highly competitive program so I need to do everything I can to do my best to stand out. I already plan to join the marching band and I'm really interested in doing summer internships. What else do you suggest I do my first two years at Tech to help me stand out?

(I realize I may change my mind about the whole program when that time comes, but heck it's a goal that will keep me motivated.)

Here's the link to the page:

Keep your GPA up is the main thing. You might want to consider joining a management organization or take a management class to demonstrate your interest in a cross-discipline education.

It’s a great program, though.

I appreciate the comment. I was possibly thinking of minoring in economics, do you think that would show enough commitment towards the managment field?
