Has anyone ever been really dumb all teh way till 10th grade then done amazingly 11th grade and got into Ivies? If so, how hard did you study? Like hours each day?

No.

10 char

nothing is impossible........believe!!

Depends on what you consider "really dumb." I turned out ok after being a lazy A minus student until my junior year, when I started doing homework every day and studying about an hour for each test.

I was really dumb until 8th grade, then did really well in HS and got into a good university...
(Well, I wasn't dumb. I just didn't work much. It involved computer games, and politics.)

I think by 10th grade it's too late. Maybe 8th grade is possible.

Wow, same here! Except... my stupidity wasn't due to laziness. I really was just stupid until high school. I got mainly B's (in NORMAL classes, OMGGGG!!1). And then, high school hit, and I suddenly did really well in much harder (Honors/AP) classes. I was ranked number one at the end of freshman year (now I'm #2). I guess my brain just matured or something... it was very strange =)

haha crap im reverse >.>

10th grade is pretty late. but I guess it depends. especially on how dumb you mean.

I was pretty dumb in 9th grade. I got Cs and Ds and all. I changed and became a straight A student by 10th grade. I have done so many things since I'm pretty sure I'll get into a top college.

Please BELIEVE. I know it sounds like you might be late, but if you show a 180 degree turn, college adcoms will certaintly notice how you grew as a person. They would notice how you worked hard to improve yourself. Then you can write an essay about it explaining how much it meant to you. Good luck and God Bless. :)

turned around in 9th grade

I got mostly B's in NON-HONOR classes cuz all the teachers were so freaking biased against me. At 9th, those teachers left (thank god) and had teachers who fawned over me. jk

I turned around in 8th grade. I used to be at the bottom of my math class then somehow miraculously shot up to the top. Similar progress showed in my other classes as well, which led me to do well in high school, so I often muse about what would have happened to me had I never transformed miraculously.
