I was accepted EA, filed FAFSA back in February, but have yet to recieve anything.
I checked wolverine access today and it didn't even have any documents listed....
Is there a certain date that UM is supposed to let you know by?

Call the financial aid office. Your wolverine account should have received your fafsa documents by now – you’ll want to double check to make sure there was no error processing your FAFSA. Check the fafsa site first to confirm that your submission was in fact processed and sent to the school. Then call finaid and ask why it’s not showing as completed. Perhaps you require verification.
I am assuming that you’ve already submitted the CSS long ago, correct?

A friend of mine who was accepted under EA got her financial aid about 2 weeks ago via WA.

yeah we just realized the css wasn’t sent to michigan or nova…so we sent that a few days ago.
yikes.

I got mine today.

for wolverine access,
on financial document status, is fafsa supposed to show up? mine only has the css profile

Yes, it will show that your FAFSA has been received and that you are under review if your “documents are complete.” So, I would go into your FAFSA and check to see that you had Michigan’s # entered with your list of schools because it does not sound like they’ve received it. Once you’ve checked that, send them an email with your UMID and let them know it’s coming! If that’s NOT the problem, call them and ask them about it.

@kmcmom13

Where does it say that you’re under review, and the documents are complete? I’ve sent everything they’ve asked for (and it says recieved next to everything) but I can’t find anything that says I’m under review.

Click on Review Status.

on the financial doc status page this is what it says in red:
Any tax returns requested must be SIGNED by the filer before submission to the financial aid office.

I feel really dumb asking this, but where does it say that on the page?

ah my dad called mich today.

when we originally filed fafsa, it glitched and dumped all of my info. so when he filed it a second time, apparently mich thought it was suspicious and flagged it.
wonderful. I think (hope) it’s all straightened out now though!
