does umich require anything other than the fafsa and css profile for financial aid consideration? do federal tax forms need to be sent as well?

I asked the same question yesterday while I was speaking to a financial aid officer. She said that right now all you need to file is the CSS and the FAFSA. If they want your tax returns at a later time, they will contact you.

Hope this helps.

thanks for your help!

when do financial aid decisions come out? are they rolling like admission, especially if you were admitted a while ago?

bump.................

If you go onto Wolverine Access, it should tell you what they need from you and what they received.

Click "New & Prospective Student Business"
Then "View Financial Aid Document Status"

Yeah, they just requested that I send in tax forms and stuff.

wow i guess it took them a while to process it, says its just received, anyone have any idea how long it takes?

I sent in my FAFSA like 6 weeks ago, and it still doesn't show up as received. Only CSS does. Anyone have any tips on that....like how long it takes to get filed and such? thanks

I don't think FAFSA is supposed to show up. I sent mine the first or second week of January, and it isn't shown.
