As I see all the acceptances roll in I wonder if I should've even applied at all. Sigh.

To be very honest… No i never heard someone with less than 3.0 got in to UCs (MAYBE the lower tiers one)

Maybe Merced or riverside. Otherwise sorry but no

A few at UCSC, riverside and Merced, but not that many. Check out this last year’s transfer threads for UCSC, Merced and riverside.

Some people got into Davis with a 2.8.

I was accepted to UC Riverside last year with a 2.7-2.8 for psychology. I was also wait listed @ Irvine but denied about a month later.

The average accepted transfer GPA UC wide last year was 3.2 (I believe), so there must be plenty of students below a 3.0

accepted to UCR with a 2.96

Some the UCs publish the absolute range of GPAs that they admitted. SC and SB admitted people starting at 2.8 and 2.9 (off the top of my head)

UCR and Merced admit below 3 all the time. My counselor said that Merced accepted a few people below 2.4 (the minimum for UC)

^ wow. .

I know several people that got into UCR with 2.9x GPAs.
