<p>Has anyone heard of COSMOS or the UC Santa Barbara Research Mentorship Program (RMP)?</p>
<p>Do you know how hard it is the get accepted to these programs and about how many people apply?</p>

<p>I have i got into ucd cosmos but it said that 400 applied and only 150 applied so that's like what a 1 in 2.25 change of getting in i dont
think it 's that hard to get in</p>
<p>meh...this topic is old lol but i'm going to the UCSB RMP this summer...i was going to get a scholarship for COSMOS but i forgot to sign up for the program lol...darn you fresh prince of bel-air</p>
<p>the chances for the UCSB RMP is around 40/200 or something.</p>
<p>I went to COSMOS at UC Santa Cruz last year. For the program I applied to, I think that there was about a 40 percent chance of getting in. (Of course, the people who applied did tend to be intelligent and motivated, so getting in is probably harder than it is to get into some programs that have lower acceptance rates.)</p>
