Has anyone lived/is living at the University View?

<p>I am going to be a freshman in Fall 2010 through Freshman Connection and am considering off campus housing. I just want to know if anyone has lived, or is living at the University View and can tell me what they think of it and if you would recommend living there as opposed to other types of off campus housing or dorms?</p>

<p>Most students enjoy the View, and construction should be less heavy next Fall with the new building scheduled for completion by then.</p>

<p>The major downside is that you’re paying a LOT for the location. Rent is about 900 per person, and the apartments can be quite small. </p>

<p>I think students generally prefer the View over Towers because Towers is located a bus ride or metro stop away from campus. It is not walking distance. I also don’t get a sense that Towers is much less expensive…though I have heard the apartments are larger and nicer.</p>
