I applied quite a bit after the deadline in April, and was told that we'd probably have decisions in a day or two after May 1st, almost certainly in the first week of May. Anyone else apply late? If so, anyone else hear back yet? Do you think the reason they're taking so long is that they have too many spots open or not enough?

Hey I applied late as well and they didn’t tell me anything about when in May we’d hear, just that if there were spots after May 1 they would review the application. So no I haven’t heard anything either.

They emailed me that decisions should be ready by ~May 15th. EEK

Good luck guys

Monkeystar: did they email you that by themselves or did you email them first? Also, I went back and looked at all the CCers who got accepted to MMSS regular decision because they applied on time, and each of them without exception enrolled somewhere else, so maybe more hope for us?

I emailed them my application. Maybe that’s why I got a response…

Well, good luck!

Just heard back today…accepted woo. You guys should be hearing back soon too then. Good luck!

OMG. i got rejected. so stupid. ugh

accepted =D yayy

wow monkeystar did you really get rejected? from previous posts on this board, it seems like they never rejected anyone…hmmm

Yeah… I was kind of surprised. … This really sucks…

damn…i’m so sorry monkeystar :(…well at least you can reapply for sophomore year right? and btw if you don’t mind what did the rejection letter say?

i just heard back a couple days ago, i got in. but for those of you who didn’t get in, if you don’t want to reapply sophomore year and take it soph and junior year, you can just do the MENU program freshman year, take the 291 sequence, and jump right into the second year of MMSS

Sophomore year admissions is CRAZY and way more competitive than freshman year admissions.

I’m just going to add to the pile of people who got in RD and are going elsewhere. Penn '13!!! Good luck with MMSS and NU in general!
