<p>My student loan and grant was released a while ago and paid for the amount due on the 15th (with some left over, but this amount is not yet showing up in my 'refund summary' - any ideas?). Berkeley took about three decades to send me parents the forms for the PLUS loan, but we just mailed those in yesterday, so I assume they will be released into my CARS account soon. Although, I already paid the amount due, so I'm not too worried.</p>
<p>If you still have an amount due, and the reason it is not paid is because your loans/grants have not been released, first make sure you have done all the required things (accepting on bearfacts, completing the MPN, other paperwork for PLUS,etc) and then call the Financial Aid Office.</p>

<p>In case any one is wondering, I spoke to fin aid, after many many calls and then 20+ minutes on hold and it turns out that if you report outside scholarships then your whole file is put on hold while that processes. The counselor was going to try to get things released by MOnday, but their are no interest or late charge penalties as long as everything is worked out by the 15th of September.</p>

<p>I suggest you call the FinAid Office. My mother called (she was a little more concerned than I was...) and didn't have to wait long at all.</p>
