I don't mind it. Although, I have >6000 people at my school so that feeling of being "babysat" just doesn't really exist.

An all boys school would be hell for me. I would have no friends, which are all girls ha.

But anyways, I really like high school. I'm having fun with all the people around me, and not really having any problems. :)

No...male...friends?

I can't wait to leave my school because it is an all-boys school. Seriously, its really nice just to have a different perspective than that of the hormone-raging jock.

High school is a drag. I can't wait to get out of Ohio. And I can't seem to get any credit for my work on the soccer team so that just ****es me off lol.

Back in elementary school I hated elementary school.

Back in Junior high I hated that too.

But now as I look back on my elementary school and junior high years, I realize how stress-free they are. I don't hate high school, because I know 2 years from now I'll be missing those silly high school assignments while writing 10 page papers.

^so true, I remember I actually stressed over a C I got in some assignment in 5th grade. Hahahaha, now I don't care what grades I get on assignments as long as it's still an A on the report card ;-)

Anyway, a lot of you mention all-boys schools. I actually wouldn't mind going to an all-girls school. It actually sounds kind of fun, it'd be such a no pressure atmosphere. I had an all-girls dance class once, and it was awesome. No one cared how stupid they looked....so maybe an all-girls school would be the same.

Boys just complicate my life anyway.

JK_91 ~ you are correct I have no male friends. Why? Because 90% of them are all rejects. The ones that I do have we hang out rarely, and they are still cool. Girls are more fun for me anyways, and alot of the guys my age are pretttty immature so it's no point. I'm happy
:D

High school sucks.

I have amazing friends, so that makes everything so much better than it would be if I didn't. I actually like most things about my high school. Yes, some of the classes/teachers are not the best, but overall it's not a horrible place to be.

I'm taking full time dual enrollment next year. I won't have sit my ass down in a wobbly 1-piece desk at high school anymore.

But you will possibly still get to sit in a 1-piece desk. I did in my Microecon and Philosophy classes. The desks were actually worse than normal school desks.

Hs is pretty decent, not really any academic pressures.

^ Please tell me you're kidding.

^^It really depends on the high school you attend.

of course HS has its merits/faults, but overall it's a decent place to socialize (rofl) and hang around, etc. Although I wish it was like 3~4 days a week on attendance.

But no, i'm not kidding, I've never felt any academic pressure simply because I refuse to compare myself with the "age 15, 2400 SAT and Carnegie Hall soloist / national greek exam (such thing?) #1" and a horseload of other crap. Rare on this site, but I'm content at going at my own pace. I really don't care if I'm the only one playing WoW and the like, really.

Yeah. Pretty much. PPl in HS sux...those old ppl lied to us these are not the greatest years...the most stressful yes but not great/

I enjoy high school because the subject matter in my classes sometimes interests me. I also like competition to a certain extent. I like my peers, for the most part -- at least the ones around whom I surround myself -- and I love just about all of my teachers.

That's easy for me to say now, but I'll concede that I don't enjoy high school when it's 2 AM and I've been up until 3 AM every day for a week because I don't start my homework until 1 and I still have a lot to do and I just want to give up and go to sleep... -___-

Why would you ever need to stay up until 2AM?

Sometimes I feel justified in wondering if...

I'd probably have significantly less than an hour of homework every night (and that's in all GT/AP classes, so according to the formula they give us on our first day of high school, I should have seven hours XP) if I just sat down and concentrated... but I have no attention span, so I'm always online and doing like 20 things at once, so homework takes ten times longer than it should!

Wondering if what?
