EC and Volunteering:

Science Olympiad-very very dedicated, secretary my second year. and i was elected president for my third year but i can't serve because i moved to MI.

Youth Court
School Newspaper
JV football-Academic Athlete Award
USATT (USA table tennis)

i have volunteering about 100 hours at a nursing home and taught english to underprivileged children in China last summer.

majors: i'm considering Finance at my first choice and a minor in Asian studies and/or Chinese. but also Architecture, Electric Engineering, Psychology.

I did recieve a 3-day in school suspension in my junior year for possesion of an unauthorized object.

I have already applied to:

U-Mich
MSU
Va Tech
Purdue
Wisconsin-Madsion
Minnesota

i need some more low reach, high math schools (private or public...hopefully 25,000 or less a year) that would accept someone like me...(isn't that what everyone needs)

Thanks Everyone

First I would mention top schools on your list I would look into more
Michigan State University
University of Michigan-Ann Arbor

Other schools to look at
University of Minnesota-Twin Cities
University of Wisconsin- Madison
Ohio State University-Columbus
Pennslyvania State University- University Park

Many of my top backup schools are located in the midwest, don't really look at universities in Illinios and Indiana though.

I'd look at the University Of Texas At Austin as your # 1 school, it is a very good school and is very strong in business, engineering and psychology

If you get a 32 ACT in one sitting, you can get full tuition at Alabama. Right now, I think you'd qualify for a 2/3 tuition scholarship.

pierre: i have thought about Ut Texas but i think it's a little too far from home (Ann Arbor Michigan). and oss tuition is pretty high.

Cool Breezz: the school mentioned, most of them i have already applied to so all i can do is just pray. penn state and ohio state has been considered, and i feel that they are very similar to my other schools Purdue, MSU, Wisconsin, and minnesota.

hawaii: alabama is pretty far but i like their scholorship policy, i think i'll look into it

thanks for all your suggestions and keep them coming.

Bump 10charrr

Marquette University in Milwaukee. Cost is 27K slightly above your goal. Has electric engineering, Finance, minor in Asian studies, Pschy but no architecture. But has construction engineering which does more to build large building than the Architect than does the skin of the building.
Based on your ACT its a safety.
Jesuit school will like your EC's

what do you guys think about vanderbilt. looking at their profile, it would be a big reach for me. but one of my friend is going there and he really likes it and is trying to convince me to apply. i think i would be a great college for me but i doubt my chances to get in.

and wake forest, i know they have a good business program, but i don't know how competitive it is to get in.

It's a big reach. Even your excellent ACT score is barely 25%ile CDS C. Same with your grades. It's not impossible but certainly a long shot.

i just can't think of any other college where it would be a good fit for me.

I wouldn't consider vanderbilt, but if you think it fits for you then you should look more into. To help narrow, apply to vanderbilt and see if you get accepted. If you don't then you won't have to worry about it, but if you do get accepted then start being concern more.

i didn't accepted nor rejected (the bright side i guess), so i'm contemplating applying to more schools, but i just can't decide which one. i'm constantly thinking about it, but i can't settle on anything. every college has something that pushes me away from it. guess i just have to wait a little longer.
