Have Any California Applicants Heard from Barnard?

Today’s mail brought nothing from New York. Anybody elsewhere in California have any definitive news from Barnard?

I'm going insane. I'm from california as well, and i havent received anything. I heard that the people who got in got big packets mailed faster (priority) and those who didnt will get small envelopes through regular mail. . . .which implies that I didn't get in.

(large priority mail envelope, not delivered with regular mail.)

Congratulations! You and your daughter reside in California, correct?

SF Bay area

I suppose that doesn't leave much hope for those of us who havent gotten anything yet, especially if the rejection letters are delivered regular mail.

In this season it's possible that mail is delayed. But even if not, remember that college admissions to selective schools really has a lot of luck associated with it, so even if you find that you don't get in here, it only means the admissions folk had to pick among many excellent candidates. There is a good college for you. Perhaps fate will show you that there is a much better place for you to spend the next four years.

Cate, we are Californians waiting to hear from Barnard as well. Good luck to you. I hope you are merely experiencing a delay of good news.

I got in . . . . (screammmm! and then biggest sigh of relief ever)

Congratulations!

Congrats, Cate!

Would Barnard acceptees mind posting their stats? Thanks a million.
