Just got my letter ups’d to me today, i was admitted ED for fall 2006, good luck to everyone else out there!

Congratulations! Maybe I'll see you there next year (I'm applying RD).

Congratulations!

Congrats, as I said. Would you mind sharing your statistics and letting us know if you have any suggestions for showing interest? Thanks

Congrats!! This year was (as usual) the toughest ever.

Kinkosmom here and wondering about how to evince interest. Daughter went for interview, visited campus 2 times. Would it help to visit again, to write a letter to the admissions rep handling our geographical area, or other ideas?

does anyone know if the fact that we didnt get a ups today means that we were deferred/rejected? also, would living in california make a difference to when we get the letter? also.. (last one.. i promise) if we call the admissions office, will they tell us our admission status?

living in cali might make a difference, as some people who live in nyc got their letter a day before everyone else (so location does seem to be a factor).
i doubt the admissions office would tell you until it was so late that your letter must have been lost or something. that is, they probably wont tell you until like december 26th just to give time for your letter to arrive.

Congrats Yellowtulip88!!!!!

allynmarie, don't worry about it- I don't think when you actually receive your letter has anything to do with it this year...I received my rejection letter on exactly the 15th...sucks for me, but it must mean that you definitely still have hope...good luck :)

Congratulations YellowTulip!
Skylar 22, I'm sorry about your news, and I hope you are doing ok at this point.
My daughter got her rejection letter yesterday too, and is muddling through, actually surprisingly well.
Big sigh! She is taking it easy today, talked to her college counselor already, and is just trying to decompress a bit before the final push of applications.
Skylar22, my best wishes for your next step.

congrats! me too, so i guess that means i'll be seeing you next year! =)
