<p>So today in my class my teacher was telling us about college vists. He was saying different things to as current students. One of them was about safety. He said at PSU and a few other schools (he was at psu for 2 years) that people would say if you crossed rail road tracks to run because you are in a bad place any of you hear this. Just curious.</p>
<p>State College is kind of out in the middle of nowhere. There isn’t much crime going on there. It’s actually been ranked in a few publications as being one of the safest areas in the US.</p>
<p>Thats what i was thinking. I love it up there and been there many times and never noticed anything wrong wonder where he got that from.</p>
<p>Maybe he was at a branch campus? And there aren’t even any train tracks here…</p>
