Have any UC applicants been asked to verify the things on their app?

<p>How do UC schools ask you to verify these things? Do you have to obtain a signature or something? How often is this done?</p>

<p>Random 10% do, apparently. I didn't get one so I'm not sure...I got one that asked to verify if the campuses I applied to, etc.</p>

<p>Yes, ~10% are randomly audited, and EVERYthing must be verified, including ECs. Test scores and transcripts are easy -- just send official reports in. ECs will require some sort of letter from a supervisor, or copies school/commnity awards, etc. A friend's kid had a solo performance at a local theater, and sent in a copy of the newspaper annoucement and program.</p>

<p>No, when you are asked to verify, it is just one thing, not all.</p>

<p>My son was asked to verify just one EC....an award for 4.0 each year. He just had to copy the award (3 total) and send it in.</p>
