I am an international applicant to Princeton. i have not yet been contacted for an interview and as time passes I get more and more anxious. What do you guys think the reason might be? Might it be that thye have already decided to reject me=[

my interview was late last week, so dont worry. i know of someone who had her interview in late feb and was accepted to Princeton.
Did Princeton send you a preliminary mail saying an interview would be scheduled?
Which country are you from?

I am from Armenia. No I have not got any mail about interview. I just got an email saying that my application to Princeton is complete. Some of my school documents were missing and they had to be resent. Might this be the reason?

I don’t think so… The most likely reason is that Princeton doesn’t have enough alumni in that part of thr world. You don’t have to worry… If they need more info they’ll definitely arrange an online interview.

Do many internationals get the interview? I just received an email about an interview after being positive I wasn’t getting one. Ok, I’m stressing right now…

How long is a phone interview aprox? I’ve only had one online interview and that was about 45 mins. Are phone interviews shorter? I just find phone interviews sort of…awkward.

dont worry
your application is considered complete without an interview
they had a record number of applicants this year
in fact, i just had my interview, and i was interviewed by phone by a woman who lives about 4 hours from me. she said many areas had so many applicants that they have asked out-of-state alumni to help by doing phone interviews, and still, some students have not received them.
i just got the call on monday if that matters.
