So turns out after everything, I owe UCSB 1.4k. Question is, how do I pay them? Can I just go to SB physically and pay up front in person? If so, what are the payment options? What should the check be made out to? Thanks in advance.

Just do e-check its so much faster.

When you log on to “My BARC,” there should be a link at the top of the page to “Gaucho E-Bill.” Click that, and it takes you to a page where you can basically pay your fees as if you’re buying anything else on the internet. If you have a checking account you’d like to use, if you type in some of your account information, you can just pay from there (without actually writing a check).

I was in the BARC office today, and I’m pretty sure you can pay in person. I was there to pay my fees with a loan check, so I’d think you can pay with a personal check in person as well.

Hmm thanks, my parents prefer to pay in person by check. So can I just go with my parents and their checkbook and will they basically help me when I get to the BARC office?

Yes, you can do that. But I will say that I’ve never had a problem paying by e-check (or for that matter, receiving a refund through direct deposit).

Here’s the BARC page on ways to pay your bill:
[Billing Office: Making Payments](http://www.barc.ucsb.edu/makepayments.htm)

e-check is so much easier.

it connects directly to your bank account

and if you have some more charges later in the year (which you will), you can pay directly and it usually deposits the same day.
