Have you decided on your major?

Double major in Neuroscience and Linguistics with a minor on CompSci maybe… All of those really interest me :)

Um…

To the question. I’ve always wanted to major in biochemistry, but honestly, I’ve been considering being a high school teacher. So I’d major in Mathematical Secondary Education. I know that the pay isn’t great, but I’d love to work with high school students.

I second ^: “Um…”

Even though I’m confused about the post that randomly resurrected this thread from two years ago, I’m gonna take the question and run with it.

Not sure exactly, but I have a general idea: definitely English, and a second major of German, history, linguistics, medieval/Renaissance studies, theatre… something :)

I’m planning to double major in some combination of
• Mathematics;
• Computer Science; and
• Physics.

I would triple major if possible, but I’m afraid that would severely limit my opportunities to take courses that do not relate to my majors. If I’m actually able to decide on a career choice (leaning toward quantum computing research) by the end of my sophomore year, then I might single major.

^^^I third the um. I actually spent a good 2 minutes trying to follow that, thinking it had something to do with this thread. Anyways

I want major in biomedical engineering, and for the schools that have it, double major in Genetics or Molecular Biology. I feel like if i feel in a good groove , I’ll go to graduate school for pre-med or Genetics. Or even BME again. And then later in life, maybe late 30’s or 40’s, when I’m hopefully rich and content, I will retire from my job and go back to school to earn another degree. There is just so many interesting things out there!
